What LIFE + T.E.N. will do: With this action and with reference to the outline provided by Action A.3, we will identify the Homogeneous Territorial Areas of the provincial territory focused on Natura 2000 Network sites that may evolve into Networks of reserves under the Provincial Law 11/07 giving practical effect to the multi-purpose ecological Network of Trentino. The development of this action will be a valuable point of reference for the elaboration of territorial planning instruments of the Autonomous Province of Trento in the fields of agriculture, tourism, urban planning and landscape protection, hydraulic management, road infrastructure management and forest management. The conditions to favour the development of comprehensive and integrated strategies and the coherence between the different levels and planning tools will be created.

Expected results: the implementation of the multifunctional Ecological Network general project starting from the identification of Homogeneous Territorial Areas and from the resulting organic and orderly development of local Networks of reserves.

On a more general level, increase in the level of integration between the different sectoral policies, as well as between levels and planning tools which coordinates the needs of conservation with that of balanced socio-economic development of Trentino.
